Terms of Service for Clippie AI

Last Updated: March 2026

1. Hardware dependency & performance

Clippie is a standalone, locally hosted desktop application. It does NOT use cloud servers for video processing or AI transcription. Therefore, the speed, performance, and successful completion of tasks (such as rendering, transcribing, and cutting) depend ENTIRELY on the hardware specifications of your personal computer (CPU, GPU, RAM, and Storage). We are not responsible, nor do we offer refunds, for slow rendering times, crashes, or poor performance caused by insufficient, outdated, or overheating hardware.

2. "As is" software

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the software will be error-free, completely secure, or compatible with all video formats or Windows configurations.

3. Limitation of liability

Under no circumstances shall the creator of Clippie be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Loss of data (e.g., corrupted original video files). ALWAYS keep backups of your videos.
  • Loss of revenue or profits (e.g., if a generated video does not perform well on social media).
  • Hardware damage (e.g., if your computer overheats during heavy video rendering).

4. License & usage

When you purchase Clippie, you are purchasing a lifetime license to use the software. You may not distribute, resell, crack, or reverse-engineer the software. Your license key is managed via our payment provider and may be revoked if abuse or piracy is detected.

5. Refund policy

Because Clippie is downloadable digital software, all sales are final. Please review the system requirements before purchasing to ensure it fits your needs.
